Leeg shows standings, schedules and results for recreational sports leagues. It is run by Chill Goat Studio ("we"). This page explains, in plain English, what we store, why, who else handles it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do. Questions: support@ourleeg.com.
The short version
- Anyone can read a league's public pages without an account.
- Accounts are by invitation only, for league staff and team captains.
- For an account we keep your email address and name. You sign in with a link we email you; there are no passwords.
- We use one cookie, to keep you signed in.
- We use privacy-friendly analytics. No advertising, and we never sell your information.
- Three companies handle data for us: Cloudflare (hosting and analytics), Resend (sending email) and Google (our support inbox).
What we store
If you just read league pages: beyond standard server logs (IP address and browser, up to 7 days) and the analytics described below, we don't keep anything about you. Your choice of light or dark mode and any team you follow are saved in your own browser (its "local storage"); they aren't sent to us, and you can clear them any time.
If you have an account:
- Your email address and name. Your name appears on invitations you send.
- Your roles — for example "captain of a team" or "league admin" — and who gave them to you.
- Sign-in sessions: a record for each device you're signed in on, including the IP address and browser type it was created from, so we can keep you signed in and spot misuse.
- Sign-in links: when you ask for a link, we keep a short record of the request (your email address and a scrambled form of the link) until it's used or expires.
- Request counts by IP address, so nobody can flood the sign-in form.
If someone invites you: your email address, the name they typed (if any), who invited you and to what role. No account is created unless you accept.
League information: teams, schedules and results, and for each result who entered it and when. Results are kept as history: a correction is added as a new entry rather than erasing the old one, so the league can see what changed.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how Leeg is used — for example, which pages people visit and how quickly they load. When a page loads, your browser fetches a small script from Cloudflare (static.cloudflareinsights.com). It sends Cloudflare a short report about that visit — such as the page address, the page you came from, your browser type and how long the page took to load — through the /cdn-cgi/rum address on this site.
Cloudflare describes it as privacy-friendly: it doesn't use cookies, and it isn't used to track you across other websites. What we see are totals, such as the number of visits to each page.
Who can see what
- Everyone: a league's public pages — team names, schedules, scores and standings. They show no email addresses.
- League admins: the email addresses and names of people they have invited to their league.
- Chill Goat Studio: everything described on this page, to run and support the service.
Who handles data for us

All three are US companies and process this data on our behalf to provide their services. Cloudflare's network operates worldwide, so your requests may be handled in data centers outside the United States. Our emails are sent without click or open tracking.
Each company's own handling of data is covered by its own policy: Cloudflare's privacy policy (including its analytics), Resend's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.
Cookies
Leeg sets one cookie: a sign-in cookie, set only when you sign in, so the site knows it's you. It's marked HttpOnly and SameSite, which limits how scripts and other sites can use it. Signing out removes it. Cloudflare's analytics doesn't set cookies, and we don't use advertising cookies.
How long we keep things

Your choices
- You can change your name on your account page at any time.
- Email support@ourleeg.com to ask for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete your account.
- When we delete an account we remove your name and email address, your sign-in sessions, sign-in records and any pending invitations. Results you entered stay in the league's history, without your name, because the league's standings depend on them.
- We may need to confirm a request comes from the account's email address.
- We'll answer within 30 days.
Children
Leeg is not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly hold information about them. If you think we do, email support@ourleeg.com and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For a significant change, we'll also tell account holders by email.
